Gameplay[]

The original Hyper-Vamps deck is a wonderful example of how to both drain and gain life quickly. Typically, you will be dealt two to three quantum generating cards. After the first turn, play the Devourers because your darkness quanta will only come in every other turn.

After turn 3 or 4 play Minor Vampires and combo with Adrenaline. Although you are hitting them with 8 per turn, you are actually getting 16 due to the life generation.

Use Thorn Carapace to control you opponents creatures and use Steal to prevent them from destroying your main combo.

Note: When using Adrenaline, Minor Vampires, and Nightfall, Adrenaline considers an attack of 3 a "weak".

Edit: Use Mitosis with Devourer at the beginning if your dealt a serious shortage of quanta or to control your opponent.

Tweaks[]

Added the following cards.

With Mitosis, you can either lock the opponent down from generating quanta with the Devourers, deal massive amounts damage with Black Dragon, or take and gain life with swarms of Minor Vampires.

Use Liquid Shadow only when absolutely needed on Black Dragons.

Edit: Also use Liquid Shadow for creature control.

Pros[]

  • Life Generation
  • Win achieved typically by turn 11
  • Can usually survive against creature heavy decks

Cons[]

  • Does not perform well against creature and time control.
